Affirm Your Purpose!

I’ve got an assignment for you this week! 

Assignment: Answer the following questions.

  1. Why did you start taking barre?
  2. When did you fall in love with barre?
  3. What future goals do you have at the barre?
  4. If you had a mission statement behind why you move, what would it be?

This week I wanted to dig DEEP and help you affirm the why behind your barre practice, the purpose behind your mission, and where you see yourself taking it! For me, writing these things down helps solidify my reasonings, and allows me to investigate/get clear about my goals. Even though the dig may be deep, the answer can be as simple as “because I am happy when I do ___.”

    I started taking barre to find a workout that was low impact, since my knees were no longer interested in running and I fell in love in my very first class. The way I moved and challenged my body was new and exciting and it felt great, plus the community was incredible. I want to keep learning and being inspired by other teachers to continue to elevate my own content and bring clients movement that makes them feel their best. I move to feel good in my mind and body, from the inside out!


      I am so with you! I move to feel good in and out! So important for me to keep my body going and to find that joy through movement. I love that as a teacher I get to share that with everyone!
