Just because it’s the new year, doesn’t mean you need to throw out everything you’ve learned in the past. It also doesn’t mean you need to create a whole new model for your classes, business, or life! What’s great about this time of year is that even though most are focused on everything being new, you can focus on looking at the old with new eyes. Bring your classes back to basics with a fresh new perspective, and VOILA a whole new approach. My favorite way to start the year is by going back to the fundamentals of my teaching in class. I like to sharpen up technique, revisit old themes, and with the knowledge that the class has gained before use that to look at the basics in a new way.
